Pricing FAQ.
What is an LLC and why should I form one?+
An LLC (Limited Liability Company) protects your personal assets from business debts and lawsuits, while offering pass-through taxation. It's the most popular structure for small businesses in the US.
How long does it take to form a business?+
Founduro files within 1 business day. State processing varies — Delaware and Wyoming are typically 3–5 days, California 2–3 weeks. Same-day expedited filing is available on the Concierge plan.
Do I really pay only the state fee?+
No. Founduro is a managed formation and compliance workflow. Standard starts at $499 plus the state's mandatory filing fee; Founder and Concierge add EIN, banking, document and priority support.
What is a Registered Agent and do I need one?+
Every state requires a Registered Agent — a person/company with a physical address in the state to receive legal mail. We include first-year Registered Agent coverage in all core formation plans.
Can I form a US business if I'm not a US citizen?+
Absolutely. Non-residents can form an LLC or C-Corp in any US state. Wyoming and Delaware are most popular for international founders.
What about EIN?+
An EIN is your business's federal tax ID — required to open a bank account, hire employees and file taxes. Included in Founder and Concierge, or available as an add-on.
Is Founduro a law firm?+
No. We are a filing service backed by a licensed attorney at the relevant bar. For complex situations we still recommend consulting your own attorney or CPA.
What's your refund policy?+
30-day money-back guarantee on service fees, minus state fees already paid (states do not refund their filing fees).
